American Fork Canyon...

A week ago Sunday (Aug. 10) Matt called and asked if we wanted to go up the canyon for dinner??? My first thought was...NO, HELLO the Olympics!!! Then I thought for a second about how my poor children have not been up the canyon this year, or haven't done anything like that in a long time and I knew they would love it. So I told Matt we would go!!! Its not that I hate the outdoors(altogether)....I'm just much more comfortable in my own home, you know where there are no bugs, mosquito's, smelling like fire, bee's (which did attack our food!) etc. Okay so we did have a fun time! Thanks Carson's for the yummy food and good times!!! Maybe we'll have to do it again sometime.....MAYBE!!!

A girl after my own heart. Camping is for the birds....and the bugs, and other critters.

How thoughtful to think of your wonderful children......I'll bet they loved it. I think you guys need to be doing that at least once a month for a family outing. (no, i didn't mean once a month every 10 years). Did Greg mention Saturday morning to you?

You just described my feelings exactly about being outdoors in the canyon. (My poor deprived family). Good for you for going and having a fun time.

Todd and I use to go up all the time. We have not gone up for a very long time. I love the mountains, but hate the bugs. It is fun to make memories with your family.

That was nice of you to put your kids first. Jeremy sure wishes that I loved the bugs and the dirt. He says he can't wait for Corbin to get bigger so they can go camping with just the boys. The only time I go camping is for girls camp. I need showers.
