Christmas Morning 2009

Ashlynn and Mitch were so excited to see if Santa had come! Well to their amazement....he did! We had a great Christmas. The kids got what they had asked for and they were so excited about everything! Ashlynn got her American Girl Doll and Mitch got his "poppa wheelie motorcycle." They are at such a fun age when Christmas is so magical, I love it!!

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite time of the Christmas season! The excitement of Santa Clause coming is so close the kids can't hardly stand it, the presents haven't been opened yet, you can still listen to Christmas music on the radio! The magic is so real! We get to celebrate with family! I LOVE IT!!!

It must be Christmas Eve Eve, the only time my kids get to go and play on the McDonald's play set! This is such a fun and crazy tradition my parents started way before I was even born! Yes, its been a LONG time!! It just wouldn't be Christmas if we skipped breakfast at McDonald's on December 23rd!

Ashlynn's Christmas Recital...

Ashlynn had her Christmas dance recital on December 19th. She did awesome! Along with her cousins, Brooklynn, Sami Jo, and Emmi! I was so proud of all of them....way to go girls! After the recital Santa came to visit and the kids got to sit on his lap and get a candy cane!!!

Ashlynn's 1st Grade Christmas Program...

Ashlynn had her Christmas program on December 17th also. Luckily hers was at night!!! She was a little nervous about singing in front of all the first grader families but, also really excited to be able to sing for mom and dad! She did a great job. I don't know how the teachers where able to get ALL 7 first grade classes (YES 7) together but they did an AMAZING job! All the classes had a part in the program....it was darling!!!

Mitch's Christmas Program....

Mitch had his school Christmas Program on December 17th. These teachers do such a great job with these little preschoolers! Mitch did pretty good. He knew most of the songs and sang along. Him and his little buddy would not stand up on one of the songs. It was pretty funny, I was trying to tell him to stand, my dad was, the teachers....nope they just did not want to!! Afterward they got to sit on Santa's lap and get a present, well a book and a candy cane!!!!

Our Annual Progressive Christmas Dinner....

We started our journey in Riverton at Quint and Jen's house for some appetizers. After that, we headed to Shawn and Aimee's house in Highland for a Christmas story told by Grandma. After the story Brady played Silent Night with his Saxophone. He did an awesome job! Next, we went to Matt and Mandy's for some yummy dinner! It was GREAT!!! Last stop was at our house for some dessert!! What a great tradition we have. It is so much fun to go and see everyone's homes for the holidays and spend time with them all!!! Thank you everyone for making it such a great time!!!

Thanksgiving 2009.....

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We have so much to be THANKFUL for! I feel so blessed to have ALL that I have.
We went to Quint and Jen's house for a GREAT Thanksgiving Feast! Thanks Jen for everything. It was a really delicious meal!!! Of course I forgot my camera so I have no pics of it. So, when we got home that night I took a few pics of the kids, just so I could have something of the day to remember!!!!

Greg turned the BIG "30" on November 15th! As always the kids were so excited for Daddy's birthday!

Greg was helping Bridger with his pine wood derby car that night as well. So we had Matt and Bridger over. Mandy and Emmi were home sick with the Swine Flu, YUCK. Debbie and Jeff stopped by to wish Greg a Happy Birthday also. What a fun night!!!!
