February in the Review...

I have been a huge slacker on keeping my blog updated, so we are going to do another review...it seems to work!

Our neighbor Dakota was chosen by the Dream Factory to make a wish. His wish was to go to Florida for the Daytona 500. He is a huge fan! Before him and his family left they had a farewell party for him at Noah's. We had a great time. Thanks Parker's for letting us be apart...we sure love that kid!!!




Valentine's Day...

We had a great Valentine's Day. Greg took me to PF Chang's for dinner and then we went to a movie! Thanks to my niece Allyse she was willing to babysit for us! Ashlynn had a little Valentine dropped off at the door from her "boyfriend" Skip. He left her a stuffed Valentine's dog. She was very excited!!




Emmi's Princess Birthday Party...

My niece Emmi had a princess party at the rec center with Miss Pleasant Grove and all the girls running for Miss Pleasant Grove this year. It was really cute. They did so many darling activities for these girls. They all had a blast!!

After the princess party, we went into one of the preschool rooms and Emmi opened her presents and they all had a cupcake! As you can see we had a little "prince charming" trying to crash the party!!


Happy Birthday Dad...

We celebrated my Dad's birthday with dinner and cake at my house. Us kids gave him a golf club he had been wanting...I guess, I let my brothers handle that kind of stuff!! My mom gave him an ipod shuffle. Oh my gosh, he is definitely not up to date when it comes to technology! First of all he didn't know what the heck it was. After we explained to him what it was and what it did, he couldn't get over the fact that this tiny little device could hold so many songs...he was in awe!! Now he can listen to his Beach Boys while he exercises!





Outside Fun...

It has been so nice to have a few sunny days. The kids have absolutely loved being outside. They especially loved getting to ride their 4wheelers...finally! Mitch is always asking to ride his. So he was so happy when he actually got too!! We had a great day, a lot of the neighbor kids came over and took a turn...they had a blast!! I can't wait for more sunny days to come. I am done with the gray skies and gloomy days...give me the sunshine baby!!!

January in Review...

My parents went to St. George a couple of week ago, so we babysat Zoey for them. Pour Zo-Zo, she is not a huge a fan of Mitch...imagine that!! You can't blame her seeming every time we go to my parents house Mitch is always sneaking a hit or pinch in and he loves to pull on her legs. So every time Mitch came around you could see her eyes following him making sure he didn't get too close! She followed me around most of the time. It was only for two days, but Zoey was very happy when it was time to go home!!

So Greg thought it would be a great idea to bring the loader home and move all the snow on our street and make a big mountain for all the kids to play on!!! Well it was really nice of him to move all the snow for the neighbors and get it out of their way. But now we have all the snow right in front of our house. We will probably have snow till June! At least all the kids are enjoying sledding down it and climbing on it!

No I didn't beat my child!! Ashlynn's cousin Brooke accidentally pushed her into my bedroom door while they were playing. This picture was taken a few days after it happened so it is looking a lot better then when she first smacked it!!

New Years Day...

On New Years Day we went to Quint and Jen's house to celebrate Sadi's 18th Birthday. My kids absolutely love to go there. They have so much fun with all their cousins. Quint and Jen are so nice to have us all come and invade their home!!!

Happy 2009!!!

We had a great New Year's. First we went over to the Parker's and enjoyed some great company and even greater food!!! The kids had a blast playing the Wii as you can see in the pictures. We played guitar hero. Tanalyn was rock-in it!!! I on the other hand sucked at it! Thanks Parker's for letting us come and crash your party, we had a great time!


Afterward we headed up to my parents house to ring in the "new year." There we had more great food. I know I know, but it was still the holiday's....right!! Anyway, Matt brought up a race track that Bridger got for Christmas. Needless to say the boys worked on it for most of the time. Before we new it, it was 12 o'clock. Greg ran outside to light some fireworks and the kids grabbed some pots and pans. Then it was right back in to finish the darn race track. Well about 55 minutes later they got it to work...finally we could go home!! By then we were all pretty tired and ready for bed.

Christmas Day

Christmas Morning....
Well Santa found the Carley's!!! The kids were so excited when they walked in and saw all the presents. If is so fun to see their little faces light up! I remember that excited feeling when I was little...I loved it!!! I think Ashlynn and Mitch where both pretty happy with what Santa had brought them.

Every Christmas morning we go to my parents for breakfast and to open more presents!!! It gets a little crazy at times but the kids have a blast exchanging gifts with one another and telling each other what "Santa" had brought them!!


More Christmas...
Later that day we headed to Saratoga Springs to see Steve and Dianne.(Greg's dad) Unfortunately I don't have any pics, but we had a great time. The kids where spoiled once again, they didn't mind...if you can imagine!!!
Once we got back home Grandma Debbie came over and brought even more gifts for the kids...wow, they are SPOILED kids!!!
